Bcp's stop/no period: Your "normal cycle" usually starts within 4-6 weeks after stopping bcp's, unless prior to taking the bcp's you had very irregular periods (as in PCOS). If your prior cycles were regular, you should obtain a serum HCG test to make certain you are not pregnant. Ask your healthcare provider to refer you as well to a GI specialist for your bowel symptoms.
