Get another exam: Begin by checking for infections, pinworm, hemorrhoids, lichen sclerosis, psoriasis, lichen planus, contact dermatitis. The most common cause of pruritus ani is fecal soiling complicated by excessive washing. After usual cleaning following a bowel movement, use some body lotion on bathroom paper to clean the anal skin and also clean INSIDE the same way. Also do this when it feels wet or irritated.
