How long do you think is a person with shingles contagious?

Shingles: A person with shingles is contagious only by direct contact. They are contagious for as long as they have a blister-type lesion. Once the blisters resolve or "crust over", they are no longer considered contagious. This process can take 1-2 weeks from onset of rash.
