A member asked:

Good afternoon. i have recently been diagnosed with lichen planus for the past 4 months and was wondering if this is related to taking lisinopril 5mg daily for htn. can i stop taking lisinopril abruptly, or must i taper off? thank you!

DO NOT STOP: Do not stop taking your ACE Inhibitor without consulting with your Cardiologist/GP/Internist, the physician that prescribed it for you. Medication only controls your problem for as long as you take it. And no, has no association with Lichen Planus. Please see your Dentist about your oral infection.
