33 wks/hemorrhoids: Unfortunately, surgery on hemorrhoids is not suggested as a solution in pregnancy, and btw, is more painful, and lasts for considerably more time post operatively. Ask your OB provider about lidocaine ointment to apply to the affected areas, which may aid in an easier time falling asleep.
