Do i need a longer monitoring system for my heart if my 24 hr holter monitor came back normal?

Symptoms or Not ?: If a person has their symptoms while wearing a 24hr Holter monitor, and there is NO heart rhythm problem that is associated with their symptoms, then the rhythm part of the eval. is definite and complete. If they did NOT have symptoms during the 24hr monitoring period, then the assessment for a potential related rhythm problem remains UNKNOWN, and a longer monitor would be needed.
