Dry sperm don't swim: Dry sperm are dead sperm. Also, fingers usually don't create babies, but life can surprise you sometimes. If taken, Plan B can alter the menstrual bleeding or spotting for the cycle in which Plan B was used, and sometimes the next cycle too. One should be sure to check a home pregnancy test about 3 weeks after sex (with live sperm), because Plan B works most of the time, but not all the time.
