7 wks pregnant/sptng: At seven weeks or so, the corpus luteum located in the ovary stops producing progesterone. If the placenta forming is unable to produce as much as the corpus luteum, withdrawal bleeding may occur for a brief time. The nausea and headaches are common symptoms of pregnancy: ask your ob provider for treatment.
