Post op TAH: A total hysterectomy is a "major" surgical procedure. There are multiple layers of tissue which have stitches to close each layer, and aside from some discomfort in "sleeping on (your) stomach", there is little chance harm will occur. If you do not see bleeding or discharge at the incision site, things should be OK.
