Changing sunscreen, found a good one but it contains octinoxate is it ok or is it bad for you.

Likely okay: There are often preservatives or stabilizers in products that permit a longer shelf and use life. You can test how they effect your skin with a simple patch test. Apply enough to the pad of a Band-Aid to represent what you would use and place it on an out of the way site overnight. If it begins to itch or burn take it off and wash the site. If nothing bad appears after a day it is safe for you.
