Oral bcp/bleeding: Once active pills are "missed", the lining of the uterus degenerates, causing a "pill period". If you resumed the active pills after three missed ones, the bleeding will continue, as other areas of the lining are going to degenerate. Best is to stop the pill and allow 5-7 days to elapse before starting a "new" month of bcp.
