Pasteurized?: Caveat Emptor. If the Brie cheese was made with pasteurized milk unlikely to have listeria however food that is improperly refrigerated or rotting can cause food borne illness and if you get symptoms see MD. Studies show rotten cheese can harbor E Coli, Salmonella, Listeria. Food safety is important food borne illness can strike anyone and pregnant women especially at risk.
