I've been on the depo provera for 7 1/2 years and now off it 4 months. i would like to visit the gynae in jan just to make sure everything is ok to conceive again (my son is 7). what do you think is important for me to find out or ask?

Depo/conception?: First, it is not a good idea to be on a progestin only method of birth control for "7.5 years". Second, are you having regular periods at present, if yes, at age 28 , if your general health is excellent, you do not have obstacles to attempt pregnancy. You should make sure to add vitamin D as a supplement at this point and throughout pregnancy.
