Probably not: Charcot marie tooth disease is a genetic disease involving the nervous system. It usually begins in the arms and legs and can cause muscle weakness. It can also cause a tingling sensation in affected areas. It is sometimes classified as a type of muscular dystrophy. I could find no association with diabetes.
