Encouraging: As a rule, rising BhCG levels is a sign of a growing, developing (e.g. normal) pregnancy. Sometimes there is a question of WHERE the pregnancy is growing (e.g. ectopic pregnancy). Barring concerns about this, the trend is encouraging. There is literature that suggests a "healthy" pattern for BhCG rise is 66% in 48 hours. Good luck!
