Pos HSV1, prob HSV2: These results indicate that the person tested for sure has HSV1 and probably has HSV2 as well. However, it depends on the exact HSV blood test that was done (there are several tests on the market). If the cut-off number is 1.1, as for the most commonly used test (HerpeSelect), then the result for sure is positive for both viruses.
