Preg test to start: is it possible that you could have been pregnant? The most worrying cause for pain like this could be an ectopic pregnancy. In this setting you might have bleeding that seemed like a period - was your period at the normal time? A pregnancy test would almost conclusively exclude this. The range of other possibilities is quite wide without more information.

Abdominal pain: May not be period related. Needs a pregnancy test if have been sexually active and urgent attention if positive. otherwise many possibilities including urine infection, tummy bug, muscular, other such as appendix, kidney stone etc. So best to get a doctor examination as tests may be needed
