Deodorant: The odor producing glands are under the influence of the adrenal glands and can begin activity as early as 6 in normal kids. This is a prelude to puberty but not necessarily part of it. If you notice any rapid growth or signs of pubertal change (other than this) I'd have an evaluation done.
