It depends: If menses are regular every 28 days or so, then there is a good chance of pregnancy. However, if the menses are very irregular then there may be a problem. Physical exam would help to see if there are any fibroids in the uterus or any enlargement of it and labwork would be helpful also. In general, 12 months of intercourse with two normal adults usually produces pregnancy. Baby s/b healthy.
