Oral bcp: It is important to establish a regular time for taking low dose oral contraceptives as the lower hormones in your system when longer than two hours from the previous day create "mini-withdrawal" symptoms. Remember, if one does not get pregnant during the 7 day interval when menses occurs on the pill, it is unlikely for pregnancy to occur for a few hour intervals between taking them.
