Mostly viruses: Most toddler diarrhea is triggered by one of many gut viruses. It could also be a food reaction, bacterial infection or one of several less common triggers. As long as the kid can take enough fluid value in to pee every 6-8 hours they usually do fine. If they do not keep up with their fluids they need to be seen.
