Hives: This sounds like a somewhat serious reaction -and I would try to get more information about it. It's possible he is allergic to something in the shampoo, although I would want to know all his exposures. Unfortunately, allergy can become worse with the next episode. Do you know if this time it was worse than before? He should see an allergist or reach out to a doc here on health tap for better care
