Shin splints: Is the colloquial name given to this. Variety of possibilities including muscle problem/overuse to stress fracture or periostitis. Recommend either doctor or physical therapist assessment as will need to be examined to help work out what is likely and may need investigations run and/or various treatments such as an exercise programme to help diagnose and manage the problem. Pain leg foot: I agree with DrRam shin splints what I would add is getting consultation to have a biomechanical lower extremities evaluation you probably need an orthotic to control some abnormal function of the foot and ankle....high arch feet or flat feet
