There is a chance that Propecia may reduce fertility, decrease libido, and cause erectile dysfunction. This occurs in less than 10% of men taking Propecia, and usually occurs in patients taking higher doses (greater than 5 mg daily) for over one year. While these effects often reverse after the drug is stopped, they can continue even afterward.
