STD? Herpes?: Any genital area sore, including something that first appeared as a cut or abrasion, could be herpes. However, most cuts and abrasions are just that, not necessarily herpes. Most initial herpes causes multiple painful blisters and sores. However, spotting after sex often means cervicitis, sometimes due to STDs like chlamydia or gonorrhea; I hope you were tested for them.
