My dinner fell on the floor tonight right on the dust pan. well my husband who made it didnt tell me until after i ate it! could i get a disease? hiv? or anything else? i'm so mad!

GI illness?: I’d presume in this context that your main risk would be for a gastrointestinal illness, like a gastroenteritis with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and stomach cramps, from whatever may have been on the dust pan from previous clean-ups. This would occur and complete within a 3-5 day window. If anything else occurs, should see doctor locally for evaluation.
