Zero minutes: there is no reason to not drink...go ahead and drink plenty of fluids! With respect to alcohol - would wait 24 hours as this is possibly the cause of your heartburn and upset stomach!

Depends: on what you want to drink. Do not drink alcohol while taking Mylanta. You do not have to wait after taking mylanta to drink water
