Is mometasone furoate cream good for diaper rash?

Dr. John Chiu answered

Partly: Diaper rash is caused by too much moisture on the area and the major problem is from monilial infection. The best approach is to make sure the bottom be kept dry by changing the diaper when moist. Anti-perspirant powder can also be used. However an anti-fungal cream is often needed +/- a topical cortisone cream .
