Better stop now: If I have a reason to look for evidence of drug exposure I can find it. I don't use the umbilical cord blood to test, and where I look can find any exposures after about 20 wks. The best thing for baby and mom is to stop and never do it again. In my state when I find any illicit drug in babies system, the baby goes to foster care and mom is charged with child endangerment.
