Thirsty, weight loss: You need to see your physician and get checked for Diabetes and other possibilities. Sooner not later. Depending how long to be seen, you might go to the emergency department

Possible diabetes: These symptoms are classic for the onset of diabetes. You will have severe problems if left untreated. You can test yourself like the ancient Greeks--if your urine !tastes sweet, or attracts ants, it is diabetes. These are serious symptoms, and you must see a primary care practitioner for a complete evaluation and good care. And unlike the ancient Greeks, we now can treat it.

Possible Diabetes: This group of symptoms is classic for undiagnosed diabetes. Have urine screened for glucose, fasting blood sugar, hemoglobin A1c.
