Pregnant?: It’s doubtful anyone would do a scan to confirm pregnancy if you have not performed an over-the-counter urine pregnancy test. The OTC test would be the place for you to start. First morning urine. Three mornings in a row unless one is positive. Should you get a positive result, then you can go to an OB/Gyn clinic for prenatal care.

Self test: Hi there, a scan is very hard to detect early pregnancy. You are better off to buy a urine pregnancy test kit from the pharmacy. These are pretty reliable nowadays. Alternatively you can see your GP who can organised either a blood or a urine pregnancy test for you.
