Gyn check: Generally, CM is gray-white or clear. Green is often a sign of an infection, especially in the vaginal vault. Ovulation rarely changes the color of CM, but will dramatically alter the consistency of it. Have your GYN or family doc do a culture of the vaginal vault to assess for infection

R/o infection: if you are having discolored cervical mucus you shoud go to the doctor and make sure you dont have an infection or cervicitis, espedcially as you are trying to conceive as some infections may interfere with your fertility
