Baby of 8months has a face rash(spots) for 2 days. has a few random spots on thighs and under arms but not nearly as bad as her face. had a slight temp 5days ago and chesty cough fpr about a week. could this be measles?

Doubt it: An 8 mo would be covered with the rash and quite ill, to the point you went to the ER. This is likely one of many viral rashes it will have in childhood.
