Treat cause: The cause of scleritis needs to be treated and that requires consultation with an ophthalmologist. For the eye lids being stuck, you may use an eye ointment, after consultation with your doctor, preferably an ointment with corticosteroids, to provide lubrication and avoiding the drying of secretions. You may consult this site for info: https://medlineplus.gov/ency/article/001003.htm

Scleritis: Scleritis is inflamation of sclera ( part of eye ) , tends to come on more slowly and affects the white layer (sclera) of the eye. Scleritis tends to be very painful, causing a deep boring kind of pain in or around the eye. The eye is likely to be watery and sensitive to light and vision may be blurred. It is managed by lubricating eye drops , anti inflammatory drops and steroids drops .
