Depends.: Ok, the concave areas around the six pack? there's a lining of tissue that keeps it's shape. That tissue extends all the way down the abdomen, folds over and cups the testes. That's them. Same stuff as in tendons. Tears r like sprains. small ones heal big ones need repair. BUT, if these are loose in the wrong spot they predispose to hernias. If infection gets into them they travel all over.
