A member asked:

Hello, i have high cholesterol and low vitamin d ..kindly suggest what i need to do to keep them within control.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hard; Easy: Cholesterol is mostly genetic. Despite all the people who want to criticize your food choices, exercise is far more important than diet in managing cholesterol and maintaining healthy arteries. Your physician may offer you medication based on your other labs, BP and lifestyle stuff. You can take a supplement with vitamin D or get more of that wonderful Australian sun. Best wishes and g'day.
