I have been waking up out of a deep sleep shivering, very cold, teeth chattering. all my blood work is ok, endo doc says not januvia, any clues?

Uhoh: It is entirely possible that there is some abnormality of the autonomic system. This happens in diabetes. The most common is digestion problems, then blood pressure, then other autonomic processes. One would expect the temperature to vary a lot during the day. Also one would expect dizziness and problems with blood pressure regulation also.
