Alopecia: Sometimes the hair falls out too quickly and leave a bald patch. Hair grows and sheds in cycles and when this happens too rapid, the area looks as though the hair will never return. Visit a dermatologist and a complete history and exam will determine the actual cause. The hair should regrow in about 3 to 4 months, unless there is a medical cause that triggered the event.
