Had iron injection 4 days ago have had pain below sternum under rib cage and to the right that radiates around my back. very painful is this normal?

Iron injection: Iron delivered intramuscularly or intravenously would not create that symptom. Gall bladder or liver inflammation is more likely. I recommend an examination by your physician. Appropriate tests will be ordered after your examination depending upon the clinical findings.
