Urine smells fish: suggest it may be something you age that is coming out in urine. For example asparagus in some gives urine special smell. If it comes and goes see if you can figure out what it is that you are eating. Note you are on metformin. Do you have diabetes? If so your urine sugar may be high and that is what you are smelling. Check your blood sugar.
