Happens sometimes: If a woman has an egg, she just needs sperm. Sexual intercourse is usually how women get sperm, but she can also get sperm to her egg by other ways without having intercourse. A second possibility is a woman who does not remember a sexual encounter, such as due to alcohol drinking or certain drugs. A third possibility, and most likely, is a false positive result... just test again in a few days.

Conception: For conception to occur, the presence of egg and spermatozoa are crucial. In the case of 21 yo female with positive pregnancy, the source of the spermatozoa is not known based on your story. It is most likely you have conceived prior to the date you gave. The best thing is to get a pelvic ultrasound to establish the gestational age. Good luck.

Does not add up: Did you have your last period in 2015? What prompted you to do a pregnancy test? If your last menstrual period was on August 20, 2017, a positive pregnancy test on August 30 is not feasible. Get a blood test for HCG level to settle the issue. If you did not have sex, you are not pregnant. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex. Get HPV vaccine
