Amniotic leak.: Amniotic leak in most term pregnancy is a prelude for going into labor. At 40w5d gestation with leakage of fluid that is not like urine, it is probably your amniotic fluid. You did not describe fetal movement, contraction or bleeding. You need to be seen at the hospital for evaluation and augmentation or induction of labor.
