Light spotting: This type of spotting can occur after ovulation, and may reflect implantation of a fertilized egg (i.e., pregnancy). It is too early for a "Home" pregnancy test to register as positive. If no period occurs, wait another week and get a serum HCG test to be certain whether you are pregnant, negative or positive.
