Possible: Your doctors suspected MRSA. The spread could suggest infectious process. Hygiene including avoiding scratching or drainage from spreading. Generally Doctors may prescribe Hibiclens soap or other antibacterial soap as well as covering all open lesions. Follow up with treating Physician may be necessary as I& D and or oral Antibiotics may be indicated
