IUD bleeding: An IUD inserted into the womb may be pushed down into the narrow canal through which it is placed for insertion. This may happen secondary to contractions of the womb rarely, which irritates the lining of the canal, causing bleeding. See your healthcare provider to see if the IUD is still in the proper location.
