A member asked:

If i had my first potential exposure to hpv on my penis, would 3 months be too soon to clear it? i assume at that time it would still be present?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No worries, if...: For guys, doctors do not have a test to be done after possible HPV exposure. HPV is very common, so in 2017 consider every sexual exposre as a possible HPV exposure... so we just approach it from a population perspective and from a vaccine perspective. Thus, get vaccinated if at risk, and don't worry about it except ask about it at annual check-ups. And, select partners wisely... monogamy helps.
