Depo: Abnormal bleeding is a side effect of depo. While you are no longer protected from pregnancy, it may take a while for the depo to clear your system completely. The bleeding you describe is a normal consequence of coming off depo.

8c of any liquids: The typical recommended amount of fluid to take in daily is around 8 cups. That includes water, milk, juice, other beverages & liquid from foods like fruit. Thirst indicates too little. The ideal varies from day to day depending on heat, activity, etc. However, most women should try to drink a cup at and between each meal/snack and at bedtime to keep the fluid level steady, especially if pregnant.

Yes: Vaginal bleeding during the first trimester of pregnancy can be a sign of threatened abortion. It can be more serious if you are having abdominal/pelvic pain. Call your OB on call or if you do not have one, go to an emergency room for an ultrasound.

No, rest is crucial: Periodsnof rest can be as important as the workouts themselves if you want to improve overall fitness (strength, endurance, speed).
