Wrong treatment?: Monistat works only against yeast infections. The main symptoms of vaginal yeast infections are itching and irritation; discharge can be present, but usually not the only symptom. If yeast, symptoms should clear in a few days of starting monistat. See your doctor for exam and testing, including STDs if you are sexually active and/or at risk.
