Constant excessive mucus in throat for over a year and it interferes with breathing. what could be wrong and how do i clear it?

Thoughts..: It could be post nasal dripping. This is a slow, constant drip to the back of the throat from the nose - can often be helped by allergy medicines. I also think of things like reflux which could be causing your symptoms. If it's been going on this long, make sure you get it checked out by your doc! best of luck.
