No interference: Contrary to popular beliefs, almost no antibiotics interact with alcohol, and azithromycin does not. Heavy alcohol impairs the immune system's ability to fight infection, but alcohol in moderation makes no difference. Just don't overdo it.

No effect: You will have fully absorbed the antibiotic within a few hours of taking it. Drinking alcohol will not affect the cure rate, so long as you have taken the proper medication at the proper dose. Please wait 7 days before intercourse to allow for full cure and ensure you do not pass along chlamydia to any partner(s).
